Earlier this year, we invited underrepresented women putting themselves forward in the 2023 local elections in England to apply for a grant to support with the personal costs of standing for election. Over 70 incredible women applied, and thanks to your donations, we are able to fund 23 of them.

Thank you to Marion, Matt, Meg, Billy, Kate, Martha, Harry, Susie, Sarah and Rachel for your donations this month, providing funds directly to Women of Colour, women from low to no income backgrounds, and d/Deaf and Disabled women putting themselves forward for election. With your support, we’re working to change the face of politics.

As always, if you have any questions, are looking for advice or support, we’re here if you need us. Email our team at any time: [email protected]

With respect and solidarity,

Rosie and the tiny but mighty team at Elect Her
